In one of my earlier posts I talked about how important it is to have an exercise routine to keep fit. This post is about how I get the most out of my current fitness level on a particular day or an event.
Last year I fractured my fibula, it was the first time I had to recover from an injury. In this post I recapped my runs with stats, before and after injury, and kept a journal of how I felt during each run and how long it took to get back to where I was before getting injured.
“While exercise is attractive in theory, it can often be rather painful in actuality, and the discomfort of exercise is more immediately felt than its benefits” this is from an article titled “The Effects of Exercise on the Brain”, written by a biology student, McGovern, in 2005. He also talks having a routine and the pains & rewards that come from exercising. I think it’s a good follow up to my Fitness 101: Routine blog post with some scientific research behind it!
